Philosophy:
I view my modifications as musical instruments not electronic components.
What makes or defines a violin as a Stradivarius in my mind are unique
qualities relative to design, materials, tempering and the interface with
a master musician. To that end these instruments must be esthetically
appealing, easy to use, reliable and exhibit a sound that is superlative.
I
also am a firm believer in Do it Yourself (DIY). There is nothing more
rewarding to an audio enthusiast or musician, than to help in the creation of a more
perfect sound. In support of that concept we have developed several kits
at different price points to help the home builder/hobbyist in the pursuit
and perfection of his/her project. Of course, if you are reading this, you
have already come to the conclusion that, a good vinyl pressing, played on
a well designed and modified set, can far exceed the sound quality of even
the best CD’s.
Finally,
I have developed a number of friends over the last couple of years, most
of whom I have never met, but we share the same goals. These friends
also market their wares via the Web and are experts in their own right.
It is not my intent, nor do I have interest in competing against these
friends and to that end, have attempted to market my products at points
of differentiation.
I
will continue to support these friends by providing links to their sites,
and many times will send you to them if I think they might provide a
service more appropriate to their area of expertise and your needs. This
venture is about progressing the art form first; profitability then
becomes secondary.
